Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, I was drawn to the arts from a young age - beginning with drawing, painting, and sculpture. After graduating from Montclair State University with a BFA in Technical Theater, I began my professional career as a Set Designer, Painter, and Carpenter in the NYC theater scene.

Once I started working at Sarajo in 2018 as the gallery assistant and restoration artist, my direction changed. I became enthralled with the beauty of textiles and fell in love through research and repair. I became the manager in 2019 and took over the business from the previous owner in May 2023. Creative and moral differences lead me to re-brand the business and separate myself from the previous owner, which is how Crewel was born!

I currently reside in Brooklyn with my two cats while running my business from home and freelancing.
